For our writing our task was to create a poem that related to the Ngai Tahu Here is my poem.

Sailing the sea in on a waka to Hawaiki Nui

With the only sound accompanying them being a little ol’ tui

Exploring Aotearoa with no plan in mind

Wondering what treasures they could find.

Creating New Zealand piece by piece.

Creating treaties with the Maori for peace.

Visit Otautahi with your family and friends

And you’ll never want the thrills to end.

New places every corner you turn.

With many schools open for you to learn.

With aged places to see like Christchurch hall.

New Zealand will never leave you, it's a place for all.

And finally we have Reading. We had to find 2 texts that talk about a landmark from New Zealand and another text from a famous landmark. I chose the peacock fountain and the Pyramid of Giza.

Here is my digital learning object.

Question time : where is you favorite place in New Zealand?
