Interesting Articles!

This week for reading our goal was to read 3 articles and come up with different names for the articles and what the article is about. Here are my articles

1# Entertainment

Some of the titles I think could work are, Pope takes wedding through the roof!, Pope arrives at weddings and takes it sky high. In this article a couple of flight attendants missed their wedding at a church because of Covid-19, The pope discovered this and preformed the wedding on an airbus 321.

2# Sports

A few titles I thought of are, Hands? No need!, Hands free high tops, Fist free feet whips. This article is about nike's new shoes being hands free! and how people should buy these because they are better any usual shoes.

3# World News

A name I came up with are Covid kills, Stay protected. This article is about how the corona virus has unfortunately  killed 4 million people. The Reuters news tally has counted up 4 million deaths and is supposed to be the most accurate tally worldwide one interesting fact I found is that it only took covid-19 166 days to kill 2 million people

5 Senses

This week for reading we had to write about a mundane task using our 5 senses. Here is my writing

Monday morning, I woke up to the sound of my alarm, Beeping in my ear, I opened my eyes which felt like they had been wired shut. The light of the day blinded me. I could taste my dry mouth from sleeping with my jaw wide open. I knew this day was going to be treacherous, I could smell the scent of a delicious breakfast. I grasped my bed sheet and threw it off touching all the fine buds of wool. The cover flew off me, I felt the cool air cover me. My eyes adjusted to my surroundings.

Can you write a story using the 5 senses?

Top team challenge!

Top team challenged us to create a game that they could use in their challenges. Me and my friends created this. So our idea is that we will have a person be blind folded and we will use the measure wheels which measure meters. They will have someone directing them around a square. Once they have finished they would tell us the perimeter of the shape. The next time they go around they tell us the area. The third they tell us the perimeter of a right angle triangle. This game will be used for years 5 - 6.

Have you ever made a game? If so what was it about?

Creating a Character web

This week for reading, writing and math. But in this blog I will show you my reading. Our task was to create a character web from a book we have chosen. I chose to read the devil and his boy. A classic!.

Here is a little blurb from the book.

Tom is helpless and alone until he meets moll cutpurse, a thirteen-year-old pickpocket. Together the two of them find themselves chased across the city by murderous ratsey. But it's con the first night of a new play - the devil and his boy - that tom realizes the fate of the queen and indeed the entire country rests in his hands.

Also here is my character web
