W9 Writing

This week for writing we are learning about using a variety of sentences structures, beginnings and lengths to give effect, our task was to write a narrative story that has 2 simple sentences, 2 complex and 2 compound sentences here is my DLO

Paragraph 1:

It was a pleasant toasty summer day in Maitai bay, the sand was hot although it was cool enough to walk on. The ice cream was open till noon because the ice cream would melt although the ice-cream was scrumptious it was short lived. The group gathered all their togs and slipped into them.  Noah the tallest of the group jumped the ocean in some sort of bomb turning into a dive at the end followed by Liam the scrawniest out of the bunch. Later the girls jumped in, they all played with a beach ball. Aiming and throwing the beach ball up in the late afternoon breeze, making sure to aim because the wind would change the direction of the ball. Later that day that was when they struck, dirty anchors being flung everywhere you looked. The group all ran and hid;  Noah peeked through a leaf and saw a...
